This week we discussed presentation skills that is Microsoft Power Point Basic. we learn how to work with slides, applying a theme and theme elements, and some practical preparation of power point presentation in class. we were also shown how to insert images like clip arts screenshots and pictures as well as practical involvement of some students in class for demonstration purpose.
Mention was made on how to apply Transitions to give your presentation a professional look. Transitions can be subtle, exciting and dynamic content. The lecturer also highlighted on how to modify a transition and adding a sound.
We further discussed the use of word art and shapes, creating wordart and formatting image.
Animating text and objects including the four types of animations was discussed. And also working with video such as inserting, editing and formatting a video to add a bookmark as well as formatting the appearance of the video.
In session two we looked at Smart art illustration which allows you to visually communicate information.
rehearsing and recording slide shows and broadcasting your slide show to remote audiences not forgetting hyper link and action button was also discussed
